I had 2 surgeries; a gallbladder removal, and a c-section. The gallbladder was no biggie, the Csection hurt. Depends on the severity. I was able to shower on my own within 48hrs after the csection though. Hope it goes well! They give you pain medication and it helps a ton to make it bearable.
