Sorry to say I’ve laughed at jokes about my religious affiliation.
Have you ever laughed inappropriately and realized afterward that you shouldn’t have and that the thing wasn’t actually funny? Have you ever laughed at someone stating an opinion that you disagree with and even disapproved of? I would weigh these guys’ other actions and comments far more than this.
Let’s give them a pass. They’re celebrating their victory. They’re talking to the president. They laugh bc he made a joke. Was it a nervous laugh? Was it a polite laugh? Can they laugh that the president doesn’t want the women around even if they do? Sometimes you just laugh without thinking.
