I wish there was more analogy with biological systems, which struggled with the same problem fro muuuch longer.
You usually do this by leveraging resonance, not pure strength. Consider making the animation more harmonic, with increasing amplitude, for a more familiar look.
I always found crazy that among my absolute favorite creators I have two Jon Perry 🎲🧬
