Oops, 15-ish people have now told me they’re coming to the bathroom hole party… Guess I’ve got to think of some hole-themed party games now

Rammi with pink hair and cat-eye glasses holds the cookbook "OF COURSE IT’S GOOD!" by Jessica Secrest. Rammi’s face is partially visible behind the book, which features a woman in a kitchen surrounded by comfort food.
Update, just received my book, thank you @mrnotmoro.bsky.social and @biggreenbooks.bsky.social! Hopefully this will get me out of my depression funk and encourage me to cook 😆

Due to her own mistakes at the beginning of the tenancy, she can’t evict me, so I might as well mark the shitty milestone (pun sort of intended due to the location of the hole) 🫠 Will share the resulting footage, promise 😆
The venue asked me if I want to bring decorations (granted, I haven’t fully explained what the party is for, just that I’m bringing a cake) but I’m not sure how I will begin to decorate for something this niche 🤷🏻♀️
Internal view of a floor cavity during plumbing work. The image highlights a main lead waste pipe running parallel to a wall, surrounded by rubble and smaller utility pipes. The floor tiles have been cut away to provide access to the pipework.
Hosting a bathroom hole party in Ealing on Sunday 22nd March to mark six months of living with this beauty thanks to my landlord - lmk if you want to come!
(100% not joking, I’ve booked a table at a restaurant, am ordering a cake topper with a picture of the hole on it, a friend’s making me a cake)

THE WAR QUEER
Optical illusion of a woman bent over some papers. Her sunglasses are pushed up and she is wearing a hair band so the top of her head looks exactly like a Muppet face
Sorry I know the world is in a terrible fix but I've been laughing at this for ten minutes now
tbh the way things are going if someone paid me £40k (min) to move back to Thailand I’d be sorely tempted
[chants] Cape cabaret! Cape cabaret! Cape cabaret!
But in all honesty, being told my work to be the opposite of a TERF has worked so well has made my day 💖 Thank you, it’s been a hellish month
If this second message is about me, that’s very sweet of you but I fear I may have ally-ed too close to the sun and am just very loud about my support for trans rights and hate for a wizard series (also being 5’9” and having a legal name of Ramon doesn’t help)
I love it whenever anti-Iranian propaganda for *American* liberals gets shown to me, a British. 'cause it's always like "You won't believe it guys, they're so evil they have an unelected legislative branch where religious leaders vote on their laws" and I'm like "Dang, I wonder what that's like"
Who tf cursed me last month? Literally got racially abused by some teenagers in Glasgow on Friday (overt “ching chong” and slanty eyes shit) so now I’ve got to deal with the admin of reporting it now too 🙄
Bluesky friends who also go through disassociation, please tell me your favourite grounding exercises - feeling very out of it lately
it’s taken eight years but I’m finally sorting out the bank account Loqbox (credit builder) made me open to get my savings back - executive dysfunction who?
unsurprisingly with everything going on I had a minor menty b and am off work for a little bit 🤷🏻♀️ haven’t even looked up new clothes, just been disassociating, which is how I know it’s not going well
Not a local and I only spent a few days there but I took this tour once and it was pretty decent (free, works on a donation basis so if you think it’s crap you don’t have to pay) www.galwayfreewalkingtour.ie
Cllr Dr Aysha Raza with dark wavy hair and rainbow face paint smiles warmly at the camera. Next to them is Rammi with bright pink hair, glasses, and a multicoloured jacket. Behind them, a circular white placard with a pink and blue border that reads "PROUD HACKNEY" and "VOLUNQUEER” is visible. The background is a busy street filled with parade participants, spectators, and a Transgender Pride flag.
A selfie taken during a Pride parade. Cllr Dr Aysha Raza with dark hair and rainbow face paint is in the lower-left foreground. Behind them stand two men, one in an orange shirt and one wearing a rainbow lei. To the right, Rammi with bright pink hair from the first photo wears a rainbow-checkered jacket. They are holding a large circular sign that reads "EALING COUNCIL" with the "PRIDE IN LONDON" logo at the bottom. The street behind them is crowded with people, trees, and various Pride-related banners.
In the foreground, Cllr Dr Aysha Raza with dark wavy hair, rainbow face paint, and large hoop earrings smiles broadly. Behind her, Rammi with bright pink hair and a rainbow-checked jacket poses mid-stride, wearing rainbow-coloured loafer shoes.
Dammit I just found her Pride selfies I forgot I was in 🥺 She was still so young, it’s just so unfair
No matter your political affiliation, she was such a force for good and the world is worse for her not being in it any more www.ealing.news/news/tribute...
Cllr Dr Aysha Raza with plum-coloured hair is in the immediate foreground, smiling at the camera. Behind her, a group of over a dozen people are gathered in a flower bed filled with flowers, most wearing red, orange or yellow t-shirts with a MindFood logo. Many are waving or making peace signs. A wooden signpost in the centre features colourful slats with the five ways to wellbeing, Take Notice, Connect, Be Active, Learn and Give
A close-up selfie of Cllr Dr Aysha Raza and Pauline and Rammi from MindFood in a garden setting. In the foreground, Aysha with wavy plum-coloured hair smiles. Next to her, Pauline with short dark hair and clear-rimmed glasses beams, and a Rammi with vibrant pink hair leans in.
I’d always text or DM her whenever there was a MindFood event on because I knew she would always be down to support us - these pics are directly taken from her insta profile but I have lots like it over the years
And always about the community first and foremost which I’ll always remember, always up for supporting the local organisations even when she didn’t have to
I work in Hackney, but I’m an Ealing girl (and my second job is at a local mental health charity, MindFood). @draysharaza.bsky.social was the only politician I’d consider a friend and there’s no words that can describe the shock of her loss. Our boroughs marched next to each other at Pride last year
although if everything feels like a dream why is this dream so shit 🤷🏻♀️
ah, we’ve finally reached the derealisation stage of my anxiety and I welcome the numbness (I’ll talk to the relevant people tomorrow but tbh I kinda prefer it over the constant panic I’ve had all week)
Oh, icing on top of the shit cake these past few weeks - my sick/dying uncle’s wife in Thailand is now pressuring my family over here to sign paperwork that says we’ll be legally responsible for his treatment costs going forward (obviously we’re not doing it but she’s making it very uncomfortable)
I loved that show too and was so sad it didn’t continue
I get there are policies and procedures but I’m asking for a one-off couple of hundred extra quid so I can pay someone who speaks Thai to sit with her so I can leave the house and GO TO WORK during this family emergency, which is still miles cheaper than a week of 24-hour care in a care home
Current offer:
Social worker: “we can give your grandmother emergency 24-hour respite care in a care home!”
Me: “is there anyone who will be able to speak Thai there at full volume so she can express her needs?”
Them: “we do assessments all the time for people who can’t speak” 🤦🏻♀️
Me: “so no then”
