Theres a plethora of things I wanna practice to improve on but I think top of that list is rendering, specially trying to be like, bolder with harsher shadows

Was playing around with that on this one and what do you know, NOT making your shadow layer be like 20% opacity out of reflex helps lmao

I oftentimes catch myself zooming in 5000% on the canvas fixing things to be just the right angle or smth and when I finally zoom out I realize its not even noticeable unless you fixate on THAT one spot--

I have come to the harrowing realization just now that drawing patterns on clothes makes them feel so much more interesting 8n a drawing even if its the simokest pattern

On the one hand hell yeah but also augh... Am I brave enough try to draw the patterns on my flannel shirts...
