Imaging with PET overlaid on CT for participant 17 as a static scan obtained 35 to 45 minutes after administration of the CYP11B2-specific radioligand, which was deemed appropriate for diagnostic imaging.
In a pilot study, a method of imaging in primary aldosteronism was developed with the use of an aldosterone synthase (CYP11B2)–specific ¹⁸F-labeled radioligand for use with positron-emission tomography. Full study results: nej.md/4rypvto
