Zoe, are the Greens committed to improving and implementing the proposed Hoxton East LTN? This area desperately needs a full LTN. Can't count the number of times I see dangerous near misses on my cycle into work

Also looks like something similar has happened at the new Whiston Rd filter @sarahwoodberrydown.bsky.social
V interesting polling research on Reform weaknesses. TLDR: reduce salience of immigration as an issue & frame conflict with Reform around economic issues, and attack Reform on links to Trump and corporate lobbying.
This is amongst the most impactful two minutes of broadcasting Iβve ever seen.

The current public pleas to Israel & private diplomacy haven't worked so far though. There's also a moral imperative to do the right thing. I do think sanctions would have more impact on the current situation in the short term though.
If it's an inalienable right why's it being used as a bargaining chip? It's shocking that this govt isn't imposing sanctions on a country that's starving 2 million people to death.
The earthquake that hit Russia today is the 7th largest quake in the last 100 years. Watch out for plenty of aftershocks too.
"How is this a government still not decisively cut off, sanctioned and embargoed? How is this a government, still, that David Lammy thinks he can βurgeβ to do the right thing?"
Completely agree with this. @sarahwoodberrydown.bsky.social This LTN is desperately needed but it doesn't prevent rat running from Kingsland Rd to New North Road (aside from market day) and I can't understand why? Could be easily fixed.
Few shots from Brazil. Loved the diversity, street vibe and architecture in Rio/Sao Paulo.
Really interesting documentary series covering the Balkans, which I'm hoping to get out to this summer. Great for A level Geography #geography
Donald Trump was recruited by the KGB in 1987 and given the codename "Krasnov", claims a former Soviet intelligence officer.

Demon Copperhead was excellent. Both harrowing and entertaining at the same time. Second great Barbara Kingsolver novel I've read, alongside the Lacuna #booksky
Interesting proposal from the Senedd, and v topical in the current debate about free speech and truth. Going to use as a starting point for a debate with my politics class next week.
Finally got round to watching Anora. Mikey Madison deserves her Bafta for the acting. Felt it lost its way ever so slightly in the chase scenes, but overall a very good film with a poignant ending.
War crime after war crime and zero consequences.
4th or 5th cold this winter (losing count). Definitely the worst thing about working with kids. At least meteorological spring starts in 13 days βοΈ
That said, the Christmas episode was almost too cringe to watch
Just started watching Ted Lasso. Lots of good quotes in it. Particularly like this one:
Be curious, not judgemental
The new Ofsted report card doesn't meaningfully improve things. Ofsted should be primarily focused on informing govt of failing schools & providing support rather than giving parents a subjective, simplified report of a school. Why not a written report?
An interesting bit of context to the discussion surrounding Ukraine at the moment. Trump clearly thinks the Russians have something on him.
Time to scrap the two-child benefit cap.
Really don't want to go on strike again but 2.8% is a joke when there's a recruitment crisis.
The only way I see it happening is if the Lib Dems end up as the only viable coalition partner and push for another referendum (which I think they'd win this time)
I think the ideal is somewhere between the two. Highly visible but not doing constant learning walks and obs and leaving experienced teachers to get on with it.
Saw Blitz this week. Normally like Steve McQueen stuff but it felt disjointed and contrived, and the script was weak.
Graph showing whether Brits think we were right or wrong to vote to leave the EU since the referendum
The number of Brits who think leaving the EU was the right decision is at its lowest level EVER.
This is a moment.
New polling from @yougov.co.uk five years on from Brexit.
Was wary about indulging Robbie's arrogance but this felt sincere and heartfelt. Also, really well produced and choreographed.
I understand that Lab don't want to reopen the Brexit divisions but this completely ignores where public opinion is at on this issue. Closer EU relations are popular with the public and would help boost growth.
Another fascinating border is Baarle-Nassau & Baarle-Hertog where Covid restrictions forced a store to close its Belgian side but keep the Dutch side open
