This is a pretty cute sculpt! The next thing you'll have to do is retopology. Make sure to run an edge along the mouth. Once that is done, you can open the mouth by ripping vertices along the mouth, then its just a matter of selecting and rotating the jaw open. Hope this helps <3

The addons should mostly work, if not then there is probably an update for it already if you go to 4.5. Not sure about 5 but your projects should also work most likely. I see some people mention that EEVEE shades differently in older Blender releases though so if you render in that one, it will show
