When I was walking the dog, a lady in a car stopped and asked me what the crazy thing in the sky was, and if I thought too that it was “falling down”.
It was a contrail from an aircraft.
This was my first real life encounter with a chemtrail person.😞
Still a bucket list thing to do: measure gravitational time relation.

Happy Birthday Paulie!

I tried acronyms so hard and got so far
But in the end, it doesn't even matter.
They were quite professional in the outpatient surgery center, and well-oiled like Swiss clockwork (pun free of charge).
I would recommend them over me.
But I still consider building a better endoscope one day.
Just to clarify: I am healthy!
I just want moles and polyps tightly monitored.
You can visually see them, and remove the suspicious ones.
So please get your skin checked, and once your older, also your colon.
Aha!
It was meant for colorectal awareness and monitoring.
It was on my mind to do it, but my wife gave me thankfully the push to schedule it.
Just routine inspection, no symptoms.
TMI on bluesky?
One perk of working at @utswtxid.bsky.social is that I can just walk from my office to the outpatient surgery center and get such stuff done.
Shoutout to their staff and doctors. Very professional and diligent healthcare pros!
I knew a group who developed a 4Pi colonoscope.
It basically also sees backwards on your intestinal folds.
I wish so badly this would have been high priority funded and ready now.
For the 4Pi fans here. cc @astormic.bsky.social @ceej64.bsky.social
Got my first colonoscopy today.
My mantra is: cancer types you can visually see need to be monitored and anything suspicious needs to go.
If you are in your forties, please consider scheduling yours.

If your imaging system has poorly characterized constant distortions leading to chromatic aberration, shoddy stitching, or false measurements (the answer is likely yes), you may want to give this tool a try. Native installers for Linux, Mac, Win under Releases github.com/saalfeldlab/...
The perfect door sign does not exi…
Expansion microscopy gone too far: look at those big spines!
Interesting, it works in German too.
While it was called “Preussen”, this orginated from the name Prussen.
And people from Russia are called Russen in 🇩🇪 .
😳
That car does not even remotely look transform limited!
That thing is only worth a fiber laser, not a Ti:Sapph😳!
People who know cars, is this this one?
I googled Corvette looking like Ferrari and it came up, but morphology is not full match:

I think those were the only decent FROG measurements I have ever gotten.
Long time ago, but I still remember that it was quite finicky.
It is quite a stark contrast, isn’t it? If you can afford such a car, you could also get nice coffee😅.
My girls like to go there on Sunday mornings, as it is the only coffee shop we can walk to.
People pull up in all kinds of cars, including Cybertrucks and other monstrosities.
Ohh, I went to flex my 8 fs laser pulses after compression (bottom row).
Well, it was @spie.org Photonics West, not our local coffee shop😅.
Neither can that dude; our streets have so many potholes and random bumps, this must be a pain to drive it…
Saw this car this morning at Starbucks.
My guess it cost more than a Ti:Sapph laser.
Still prefer an ultrafast laser over a sports car😀.

Yeah, quite amazing.
He beat Odermatt who is in his prime. By a second in first run; and then almost slipped in second run, but kept it together.
One giant leap into history.
Congratulations to Lucas Pinheiro Braathen!

Aha, just as I worked on doing the new formatting…
I guess it’s still better to get it done anyways.
