I don't know why but "incredibly prolific" struck me as a bit of a back-handed compliment. I mean, it doesn't actually say whether his writing is any good, just that there's a lot of it!

I run with my boy as well, but only the Junior Parkrun so far. As for the bookclub, I've been reading him the Lord of the Rings as a bedtime story for nearly a year so the indoctrination has begun!
Love the idea of the "running book club", but I'm too out breath to talk while running!

Are we on the verge of discovering an extremely niche community of classic science fiction loving long distance runners? There must be dozens of us! Dozens!
