The final one

Nose: Peat, meat, spice / high abv. Not loads.

Palate: BBQ meats, bit of a butter note. A well done bacon butty

Overall a good dram and for me scores a 3

It's ok but this one doesn't know what it is. Scores a 2 for me #BlindDrams

Palate: initially it went missing. Water and the peat really takes a back seat, nice buttery and bacon notes, with a peppery spice. #BlindDrams

Dram 4

Nose: lightly peated, bit of a coastal meaty note, a swirl of the glass and some green apples. #BlindDrams

Scores a 2 for me #BlindDrams

Palate: Nougat, fruity berries and sugar. Sweet with a drying finish. Not bad there's more there. #BlindDrams

Dram 3

Nose: french apricot pastry, some red fruits in the background, rich sugary notes, not bad. #BlindDrams

Not a bad un and a step up so it scores a 2 #BlindDrams

Palate: oranges, strawberry tart. Fake sugar syrup. Interesting and bit drying but not bad with water. #BlindDrams

Dram 2

Nose: Berries, funky, chocolate shavings, grassy note. Very layered #BlindDrams

It was better with water but it only scores a 1 from me. #BlindDrams

Palate: initially it was just spice and fizz. Some water tame it and lemon notes, almost like a pack of refreshers. Still a fizzy spicy note and underlying sweetness but it's a very dry dram after that initial punch. #BlindDrams

Dram 1

As usual let's see where you set the bar.
Nose: foamy bananas, tropical fruits and a strong abv /peppery note. Do note some vanilla and reminds me a little of a custard slice

A very good evening scores on the door were 4 2 4 2 3. #BlindDrams

Overall pleased we only had one peat dram and this one ticked boxes. Scores a 3 #BlindDrams

Palate: a dirty funky dram one would often say ledaig. It tastes like tomorrow's breakfast a solid bacon butty. #BlindDrams

Nose: bacon fries, or frazzles #BlindDrams

A nice dram but not rushing back to this one. Scores a 2 #BlindDrams

Palate : foamy bananas. Vanilla slices, and some tropical fruits. Nice little dram with a good abv and spicy finish. #BlindDrams

Dram 4
Nose: green apples, icing sugar, pastry notes and a nice bit of cinnamon spice. #BlindDrams

A solid dram and it's a 4 from me #BlindDrams

Palate: lovely dram so rich, apricots, honey, old leather and spice. I'm going to save the rest of this for later as it needs time for you to enjoy it. #BlindDrams

Nose: yes a lovely rich nose, usual Christmas cake flavours, also I picked out a bit of a creme brulee #BlindDrams

Overall nice but forgettable, scores a 2 #BlindDrams

Palate: oily, nice fruity dram, some lemon cheesecake and no that's not what I had for dessert, and then there is some spice. Water improves it. #BlindDrams

Nose: berry undertone, I did pick up a bubblegum note, bit of a biscuit base and certainly a step up in abv. #blinddrams
