👧Childhood-onset asthma variants were overwhelmingly shared with:

🔸Eosinophil counts
(MIXeR analysis)
🧑 Adult-onset asthma showed stronger genetic links to:
🔸Higher BMI
🔸Reduced lung capacity
compared to childhood-onset asthma
In this study, we curated 254 GWAS summary statistics to explore the shared genetic architecture between:
✔ Asthma (overall)
✔ Asthma subtypes (severity, age-of-onset)
✔ 81 related traits (spirometry, blood counts, interleukins, and more)
