Same for a recent conference I was at. I tried to "live tweet" but there was hardly any activity from others at all
My guess is that it's about time spent on the app. Twitter was always the fastest place for news and any and all chats about pop culture, sports etc. so more log ins + time spent. I've recently purposely searched for recent TV shows cos I crave that sort of discussion and memeing but it's crickets
If you liked Succession, you'll probably enjoy this! Funnily, Succession is referenced in a joke in Industry. I've seen fan theories on whether Succession is a TV show in their universe or whether the Roy family lives in their universe. I prefer the latter- the Roys as dream clients to these interns

I agree - his fear is not his safety but his legacy
Hi Patrick! ππΎ I would recommend it, but with the warning that none of the characters are meant to be likeable (we learn about their backgrounds and can sympathize, but almost everyone is money/power-driven). Also a lot of 20-somethings doing hedonistic activities π think interns with bonuses!
#hboindustry
Unpopular opinion but I think #Industry S1 was the best!
I liked the show more when the stage was small and focused around the core characters just figuring out relationships, their first jobs after college; finding their place in the world. In later seasons, they abandoned subtlety for spectacle πββοΈ

Sen Tim Sheehy (R-Montana) badly breaking the arm of a Marine veteran protesting the war Iran.
It is so damning of US news media that so many outlets refuse to just straight up say that Senator Tim Sheehy assaulted an activist.
He did not "help" Capitol police. They did not need his help. He wanted to assault the guy and did. He should resign.
People are asking why Trump landed US in an illegal war with Iran.
The answer is that his approval ratings are low.
That's it.
A war allows him to create a shared enemy (which boosts in-group solidarity), a distraction from his domestic disasters, and a pretense for declaring emergency powers.
It doesn't need to be slipped in. Already women experiencing miscarriages are being put in handcuffs, cos a miscarriage is a spontaneous abortion.
I agree with the general sentiment that the US healthcare system is deeply flawed but I think we should be careful making him some kind of case study for it cos his story seems to be complicated. In fact, we don't need a millionaire to be the face of this problem when most of us know first hand.
I've also heard that he decided to forgo conventional treatment and instead went for alternative therapies which are not covered by insurance.
Incredible opinion. It holds that the common ICE tactic of jumping out of an unidentified rental vehicle and seizing suspected noncitizens while masked violates the Fourth Amendment because the *manner* of the seizure is incompatible with a free society governed by the rule of law.

Measles is a bellwether. Because itβs the most contagious vaccine-preventable disease, when vaccination rates drop, itβs the first to start spreading.
Now weβve got mumps rolling up.
Expect more.
This is just the beginning of RFK Jr.βs successful infectious disease reintroduction plan.
Disabled people deserve safety.
Caregivers must be considered a critical part of our survival and never ripped away unnecessarily.
We often have no contingency plan. No one comes to save us.
Protect caregivers at all costs and help us advocate for better social supports.
Unlike, say, data analytics giant Palantir or some other high-profile surveillance companies, Ring is a surveillance network that homeowners have by and large deployed themselves, powered by fear mongering against our neighbors and unfettered consumerism.
For my money, the way thousands of regular people are self-organizing to resist data centers is one of the most cautiously hopeful stories going right now.

Amazon made a choice to partner with Flock and feed data to ICE.
They chose to allow their popular ring cameras to spy on peopleβs neighbours for the purpose of sending them to camps.
The damage is done.
Donβt buy a Ring camera and donβt support Amazon.

You need to understand that for every store that gets out, there are easily 5 more. There are segments of la frontera that are known as death valleys because of the difficulty of maintaining hydration and CBPβs institutionalized culture of destroying water sources left behind by crossers & activists
Part of me wonders if this public announcement is a strategy Moderna leadership is using to put pressure on the administration. If that's the case, thank you for bringing attention to this!
Seems like a short sighted investment decision given that we will (hopefully) reverse this dogmatic admin in the next 1-3 years? Also, if these cures are available and approved in the EU and elsewhere, isn't there a good chance the public pressure will mount towards approving them in the US too?
"Moderna's CEO announced the company will no longer invest in new Phase 3 vaccine trials for infectious diseases: 'You cannot make a return on investment if you don't have access to the U.S. market. Vaccines for Epstein-Barr virus, herpes, and shingles have been shelved.β 9:12 AM Feb 12, 2026 604.8K Views
In terms of what cures are being lost:
- Epstein-Barr virus is perhaps the major trigger for multiple sclerosis
- herpes simplex virus causes cold sores, genital herpes, infections in babies, deadly meningitis
- shingles virus causes an intensely painful disease

9-year-old Maria Antonia Guerra Montoya, detained on her way to Disney World, spent 113+ days at Dilley.
1/ ProPublica collected handwritten letters in mid-January from children held at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center, the same facility where 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos was taken.
Hundreds of kids are still detained.

It wasnβt Liam Ramos with Bad Bunny at the Super Bowl halftime show
He hasnβt had a happy ending & sharing a false story could hurt his family
The DoJ is moving to expedite his deportation
They want to punish Liam for capturing the hearts of the nation
His happy ending is still a long way away:
