... unredacted release of the Epstein files actually change? Would he be held more accountable for those offenses than for the ones he was already prosecuted for?
While Americans and the Press expend effort and attention on the status of the Epstein files, innumerable steps are being taken...
... to dismantle our republic. Russell Vought, Stephen Miller, and Steve Bannon know exactly what they are doing. Mass distraction is being deployed and we are all falling for it. My two cents...
Something I've been thinking. And not to minimize, dismiss or otherwise ignore the tragedy that the victims experienced, but what if? I mean let's look at the situation: Everyone already knows Trump is a rapist, he lost the Carroll case, and was convicted of 34 felonies. What would a full...
This needs to get a LOT of traction.
Quotes from JFK and MLK on facing the challenge of the times we live in.
I had a profound thought late last night: The randomness of fate and existence dictated that we be alive during these times. We will be measured by how we choose to react.
Motivated me look for quotes. Unsettling but not surprising that the best I found were from two who paid the ultimate price...
.. be dismantled. This is real. Our Representative Democracy and Constitutional Republic will officially be unlike what we have known for a good amount of time. Lady Liberty, get the lights on your way out, please... It was nice while it lasted.
With the signing of the "Big Beautiful Bill" today, herr Trump and his Project 2025 henchmen will have somehow arrived at the outcome they sought after, and "checks & balances", among other things, will be dismantled. This is real. Our Representative Democracy and Constitutional Republic will...
βThe moment had finally come, and it was every bit as lowdown, vindictive, personal, petty, operatic, childish, consequential, messy and public as many had always expected it would be.
βThe clash of the titans was upon us, and the gloves were off.β
But how about the best FOUR PANEL meme...
Itβs bad because of all the collateral damage (us) but also good because we have so little to enjoy in American politics
Raise your hand if you did, we should probably be friends...ππ π€£
Elon Musk posted that Trump is in the Epstein files.
This is fun to watch. Somebody get some popcorn...
This is exactly how I feel. It's now, yes, but the endless angst from decades of trying to get conservatives to see reason and reality... Nearly overwhelming to consider it all at once.
Bono has staked his reputation.. that the more blended the world becomes, the better off everyone in it becomes. Now, he's watching as a violent snap back toward nationalism has spread across continents. βIβve been very angry,β he says. β Thereβs too much at stake. www.esquire.com/entertainmen...
βSo far, the most energetic opposition has come not from civic leaders but from everyday citizens, showing up at Congressional town hall meetings or participating in Hands Off rallies across the country.
βOur leaders must follow their example.β

"On Tyranny" is a #1 NYT bestseller again. I wish the moment were different. But Iβm glad the book is useful. And grateful for all the kind words about putting the 20 lessons to work.

His approval rating really doesn't matter unless it begins to sway a significant faction of Republican leaders who band together to oust his administration before it's too late. At the pace things are moving, 2026 elections won't matter.
misguided, fractured, polarized society hell-bent on tending to splintered agendas at any cost. I wish all my friends strength, clarity, and good outcomes in the coming months.
With that, I need to look away for a bit and focus on my life. It's probably the best my life has ever been. My health, my wife, son, job, home, musical hobbies... All good. I love my life, hate what's happening in my country, but can only do so much to influence a positive outcome from such a...
3. Violence, like our country has not seen since 1865.
Do I think any of these will happen? Not really. So, we will collectively waddle along like #sheep to the cliff as those in the front fall... And that feels pathetic.
willing to risk switching sides for the good of their country.
2. A complete work stoppage: An organized #strike across our nation where the majority of us stop buying, stop working, and #protest until our system is crippled to the extent that those in power are left no choice but to react.
This isn't #Trump. This is a well-organized group of conservative extremist organizations that banded together to execute their agendas once their perfectly-aligned mouthpiece was elected. There are only 3 ways I see that this stops:
1. A coup of sorts, executed by an organized group of #Republicans
Two Bluesky posts, one saying too much involvement will hurt you, one saying too little is wrong.
I am firmly between these two camps at the moment. The daily deluge of updates detailing the dismantling of the American system is troubling, to the extent I've been referring to our phones as " #Apocalypse Rectangles", yet to look away and say nothing feels inadequate.

It's true. If we weren't a complete mess to begin with, the stage wouldn't have been set for this dismantling to take place in broad daylight. Thieves can't point fingers for risk or being exposed.
