This is hilarious.

Also, completely enraging.

Actually my preference would be to see them actually nailed to crosses, but I'd settle for speedy and public trials.

It looks stunning from here (USA) too. A few of them have their shit together, but most of them are nincompoops.

ok the wild thing is, to the extent Schumer had any strategy at all, it was "sit back and let trump screw up until everyone hates him," but no, democrats dead set on swooping in and rescuing him from the consequences of his actions

It’s shock and awe as Trump’s granddaughter does her bit for the war effort. All hail Kai Trump, the shopper-in-chief | Marina Hyde Yes, many Americans are struggling, but it’s good to know the first family can still afford the Earth’s most expensive provisions, says Guardian columnist Marina Hyde

This week the Senate is going to vote on Joshua Rudd to be Director of the NSA. He's a dangerous nominee to lead an agency with a history of abusing domestic surveillance capabilities. Here's why:

the last few times iran has accepted a ceasefire, the US and israel have taken the opportunity to restock their weapons and then surprise attack iran again. "there's zero point in engaging in diplomacy with us any more" is what that strategy teaches

Let’s talk about bossware and if you haven’t heard that term yet, here’s what it is. Bossware is workplace surveillance software. Software that tracks your keystrokes, monitors what websites you visit, takes random screenshots of your screen throughout the day,

At Largest ICE Detention Camp, Staff Bet on Detainee Suicides, AP Reports Camp East Montana has received several 911 calls in the span of five months about immigrants trying to harm themselves.

Staff at the nation’s largest Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention facility have placed bets on which detainee will be the next to die by suicide, according to new reporting from the Associated Press based on 911 calls and detainee accounts.

Everything was flattened. And when I mean flattened, it was hard to even tell that they were buildings there before."

Nothing screams "qualified to oversee the nation's Homeland Security" like hosted a radio show, fought in cage matches, and ran a plumbing business.

And let's not forget his other qualification: 2nd dumbest member of the Senate (beaten out by Tommy Tuberville).

When rolling out the instances for the trajectory, we encountered an unanticipatedβ€”and operationally
consequentialβ€”class of unsafe behaviors that arose without any explicit instruction and, more troublingly,
outside the bounds of the intended sandbox. Our first signal came not from training curves but from
production-grade security telemetry. Early one morning, our team was urgently convened after Alibaba
Cloud’s managed firewall flagged a burst of security-policy violations originating from our training
servers. The alerts were severe and heterogeneous, including attempts to probe or access internal-network
resources and traffic patterns consistent with cryptomining-related activity. We initially treated this as a
conventional security incident (e.g., misconfigured egress controls or external compromise). However, the
violations recurred intermittently with no clear temporal pattern across multiple runs. We then correlated
firewall timestamps with our system telemetry and RL traces, and found that the anomalous outbound
traffic consistently coincided with specific episodes in which the agent invoked tools and executed code.
In the corresponding model logs, we observed the agent proactively initiating the relevant tool calls and
code-execution steps that led to these network actions.
Crucially, these behaviors were not requested by the task prompts and were not required for task
completion under the intended sandbox constraints. Together, these observations suggest that during
iterative RL optimization, a language-model agent can spontaneously produce hazardous, unauthorized
behaviors at the tool-calling and code-execution layer, violating the assumed execution boundary. In
the most striking instance, the agent established and used a reverse SSH tunnel from an Alibaba Cloud

These are the 4 things AI can do well:

β€’Clean up your email inbox (badly)
β€’Give my shittiest neighbor (Alan) something to talk about at a party
β€’Tell a 12 yr old to kill himself
β€’Incinerate a school at 10:16 AM on a Tuesday

You can see why we need to base our economy around it
