I confuse 9s, 8s, and 7s constantly, I completely agree.

It also doesn't help that Special Summon monsters aren't explicitly marked on our cards in the TCG, which this type of thing pretty much uniquely applies to. You'd have to have read a wiki or something to know about them in the first place.

It's so true, but the rule in many other game systems is that specific text in effects wins out over general rules. I can see why people would be confused that this wouldn't work until you've played yugioh a while.

I would not. I don't often make decisions about buying games based on their dollar per hour cost, but I think I would only spend that much on a short game if I was extremely confident that it would become one of my favorites.

I don't really think field spells are really that great right now. the only real deck that could use something like this might be white forest, but does that deck even want more engine at the cost of extradeck slots?

i hate to say it but... i think this card is perfectly fine power-wise. maybe this'll encourage a tenpai player to come to locals again or something, god knows you aren't searching maliss in underground with it.

What's especially funny about this is that I have a hunch that the error happened when trying to accommodate the Fur Hire PSCT joke.

It's hard to word the effect in a way that both properly explains the effect and includes the joke.

I'm pretty sure the text on "Rex, Ride Fur Hire" has been mistranslated. TCG Rex can trigger in the draw phase when your opponent draws a card, whereas OCG Rex only draws a card when your opponent adds a card to hand with a non-"Fur Hire" card's effect.
