His DS team comprised of ex-dopers, men who SCHEMED to get around regulations...

and yet we are to believe him is cleaner than the wind-driven snow...

and also the "evil" Horner did, according to this article, was to break Omerta.

Houston, we have a problem

"Tramadol was legal and I was using it heavily," Vuelta winner Horner sympathises with Tadej Pogačar's Tour de France injury 'struggles' and makes another revelation about his own career + more on the... It's Friday, and Callum couldn't contemplate going a week without running the live blog. So he's here, ready and waiting for the weekend like there's no tomorrow

"I was using tramadol heavily"
Tadej Pogačar has found a new supporter in a former Vuelta champion, even if he made some questionable comments on his own career.

The "belief" does NOTHING to remedy a situation, it only reveals what's inside the boaster...ostrich DNA and an affinity for holes.

I bet email scammers have a field day with such fools.

I'm stunned at the idiocy and moral posturing of some cycling fans who boast of "believing the best" in spite of evidence to the contrary...and then who stalk and hulk trying to intimidate others with their moral purity who rely on evidence and sound reasoning...

Apply that posture to Israel...yeah

That's quite the flex there. Not only naive, but absurd.

Sigh...yeah, I get that. I did that once before, to a pretty staunch degree back between 1995 and 2007.

I just don't get it tho...if you're clean, why you work with ex-dopers who didn't even hide it AND why they even allowed to work with riders now.

For me, it's like choosing to believe in Santa.

One of the things I love to do most is watch professional cycling races.

One of the things that disgusts me is gaslighting and pretense.

I'm not watching today, a rider managed by ex-dopers and sportswashing for an oppressive regime.

Until he gets rid of all ties to dopers, I just cannot.

11.10.2025 11:55 πŸ‘ 3 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

I like all the things you say, Mike...to be very blunt I am not only NOT a Pog fan I also don't believe him and won't until he fires his ex-doper managers.

Your clarifying comments help me understand what you are saying and I appreciate them a lot.

11.10.2025 10:43 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 2 πŸ“Œ 0

Really good answer Jason.

Also, to Mike, I would add that given the capricious nature of racing, any rider besides Pog with a true chance at the victory also has to be ready for any opportunity presented by fate via crash, mechanical, etc.

Just going kamikaze isn't truly viable.

This makes me wonder...does the mere possession of such a little machine, and attending to it, automatically make one unable to be empty?

Or does it just measure what's happening, sometimes which there's nothing one can do abt it?

about as interesting as watching Shaq play basketball against elementary school kids

Well, I *sort of* agree.

Obviously, the ideal is that he IS clean and just literally makes a mockery of probability. At least then a shrug would give acceptance.

Gawr, if only he'd fire his ex-doper managers!!

I like your preface to this...no one expected that awful crash that happened to Jonas that utterly changed his trajectories...this can happen to any rider at any time

30.09.2025 13:49 πŸ‘ 2 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

I mean, we're talkin bout a rider who either has terrified everyone so much he does whatever he wants, no one even twitches to stop him, OR a rider so far outside statistical probabilities of genetic superiority better than anyone ever in history that it's moot & he does what he wants...

or dirty

30.09.2025 13:47 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

That's a horsecrap thing for a mechanic to say to a rider who's been in that saddle for umpteen kazillion billion miles and simply *knows* the slightest differences...and they matter.

GAwww I am so sorry to give it away.

Yeah, RIGHT when I got up into the race abt 130 AM Pacific Time here on the west coast of North America lol

I get the computer open, get the race dialed in and see a small scrum of riders torn open...there him was and out

They certainly have accomplished any purpose aimed at a cycling team that does no genocide and influences no policy, tho they do bear the name of a nation that does so.

The jury is still out on the topic of if they will assist in getting that nation to change its murderous ways.

"The sight of evil kindles evil in the soulβ€”there is no getting away from this fact. The victim is not the only sufferer; everybody in the vicinity of the crime, including the murderer, suffers with him. Something of the abysmal darkness of the world has broken in on us, poisoning the very air we breathe and befouling the pure water with the stale, nauseating taste of blood. True, we are innocent, we are the victims, robbed, betrayed, outraged; and yet for all that, or precisely because of it, the flame of evil glowers in our moral indignation. It must be so, for it is necessary that someone should feel indignant, that someone should let himself be the sword of judgment wielded by fate. Evil calls for expiation, otherwise the wicked will destroy the world utterly, or the good suffocate in their rage which they cannot vent, and in either case no good will come of it."

C. G. Jung, Civilization in Transition, Collected Works, Vol. 10, par. 410

This yr Milan San Remo was like that...I woke up abt 15 mins from the coast. Perfect.

I *do* go back and rewatch the entire race tho

Yeah, but how PERFECT tho...

I live in the West Coast of North America, so I am regularly up for the rollout at anywhere from 1230 AM to 400AM...and I love to get the race on, kick back with my coffee and blankie, watch a while, let the rhythm establish...and then snooze for 50-60k...wake up. YEAH
