The latest from @ymriofficial.bsky.social : Trump has lost ground among young men, but new message testing shows that if Democrats fail to aggressively refute Trump's misogynist vision of masculinity, Trump stands to win those voters back.

Does anyone here know any historians or political scientists who study wartime propaganda? Bonus points if they specialize in the American context specifically, but not necessary
They get mad when people on SNAP want to buy soda
Survey 160 is hiring for multiple contract survey manager roles. This is a particularly good fit for PhD students who are looking for some experience in industry or for someone a few years out of undergrad with some experience in the survey industry already. Please reach out to me with any questions
I dunno man. Like, I remember this was a thing when I was in model UN in college (I ran a crisis committee scenario at one of the Model UN conferences we put on all about a closure of the Strait of Hormuz). This is definitely not a new idea ... and wasn't when I was in college (which was not recent)
Example of how question wording can distort inferences. Figure suggests conspiracists quite likely to endorse political violence.
Conspiracy is summed "Trues" to a set of specific conspiracy beliefs.
Political violence is "agree."
Common to both? Acquiescence.

"Import Tax Control Act" requiring a congressional vote in 30 days to approve any new tariff imposed under existing law for it to continue.
I don't necessarily think this is a *bad* idea, but tinkering with the tax bracket is not a *big* idea. A big idea in the domain of taxation would need to have a new class of tax or tax credit. A few examples:
"Yacht Tax" on high cost luxury goods
"Compute" tax on data center electricity use
