No you don't. You can rebut (=deny) it, but you can only refute (=disprove) it by presenting issue-settling evidence. #SaveOurSubs

A crypto investor just donated £9 million to the Reform Party. Right now, billionaires can pour unlimited money into our elections, effectively buying our democracy. Think that's wrong? Add your name to call for a cap on donations today: you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/ta...
Lily would be proud!
Two attention seekers. Clearly they are not scared of trans people.
Trans people are just regular folk.
Trump keeps calling his war on Iran an “excursion,” like it’s a sightseeing trip. You can almost hear the briefing where someone said “incursion,” and he just ran with the wrong word.
The people paid to advise him are either too afraid to step in or are just fine with him looking like a fool.
Photo of a sketch on a table with pens around it. The sketch depicts a house under a pink flower tree. In the window stands a little samurai silhouette and somewhere hides a cat. Brushed and technical pens on paper.
Daily sketch 🌸🏚🥷🐈⬛️
Can you spot the cat ?
Also, I just reached 5k followers here. I’ll post a small celebration + print giveaway later today. Keep an eye out 👀

There is a very large BESS battery power plant, getting installed at the Eccles Sub Station near the Scottish Border now. This is to be for Tesla batteries.
There are 3 battery plants storing renewable energy at this Sub Station, the other 2 are not Tesla. They are to supply England.
@TheChiefNerd SAM ALTMAN: "We see a future where intelligence is a utility, like electricity or water, and people buy it from us on a meter."
i don’t know how this is supposed to work in terms of intelligence but whatever these guys do is taking stuff that is not theirs to take and then sell it for the highest possible price

A flight track of a US Airforce plane in Israel.
We now have evidence via the BBC that American war planes have used Prestwick Airport on their way to Israel to support the illegal war in Iran.
There is no way we should allow this from a publicly owned airport.
Vandalism by masked thugs in Wembley at Indian restaurant causing much concern + reported in India. No police statement yet on initial investigations. Not confirmed if criminal gang activity, as some suggest, rather than religious hostility/communal motive

Palantir don't have anything useful to offer that can't be programmed in the UK
This story is such a bad example of journalists *creating* news. They sent out a survey to 5,000 GPs. 752 replied. 540 said they’d never refused to give a fit note to someone who said they had mental health issues. 162 said they had refused, which is over a fifth. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
The implication is, of course, that loads of those people requesting fit notes for mental health issues are having us all on rather than, say, there having been an uptick in mental health issues following the pandemic and attendant lockdowns.
The vast majority of the GPs who were sent the questionnaire didn’t reply. I suspect largely because they’re too busy but also because a lot of them will have seen exactly the angle the journalists were pursuing.
