Facebook is down, and has been for some time now. Hopefully, this gives a bit of a boost to Bluesky, and breathes some new life into the platform. I for one, would be ok with Facebook disappearing for good.

Kind of a rhetorical question isn't it? She hires them BECAUSE they're Nazis. They all aspire to be the next SS, killing people and being dictatorial towards unarmed people. I figure it won't be long before they're trucking people off to camps somewhere remote and dispatching them, en masse.
My 13 year old son, having the time of his dang life playing JB football with his new team, The Saanich Wolverines. Intensely proud of this kid, win or lose! :)
I really like this BlueSky thing, but I really, REALLY hate the lack of copyright enforcement. A button that allows you to download other people's content is the only thing that has been keeping me from using it more than IG or FB.
Any other creators feel this way? Just me?

Ok, honestly.. Am I the only youth sports photographer that deals with parents and kids taking screenshots from their galleries on his/her website, rather than just buying the photos they want?
How do you cope? How do you deal with this!?
I love this island.
Every time we leave the house, it's an adventure. The best of them is being able ro ride our bikes on the 55 km long Galloping Goose trail, that runs from Leechtown, through Sooke, to downtown Victoria, as part of the 18,000 km long Trans Canada Trail.
I love this place!

I love that the only time my dog is cuddly is when I'm in bed, sick, depressed and feeling like the world is just too big to cope with.
When I'm at my lowest, she puts herself within arm's reach. <3

Went for a walk last night to enjoy the sunset and take a few photos. It was wonderful, but the return to the realities of the world was jarring afterwards.

Loving this #SiruiAurora 85mm f1.4 lens. I love that a person can have quality without spending multiples of thousands of dollars. Just to be part of the "my shit is expensive!" club.
I will definitely be kitting up with more Sirui gear as I progress and start generating some cash flow.

I wish I was a well known and important photographer so people would send me free stuff to try and review. Because man, those reviews would be ridiculously genuine; a review done by a lay person common man.

Had a blast trying out my new #Sirui #Aurora 85mm 1.4 last night with some of the Westshore Rebels coaches, as they put on a bit of a training camp for our JB Westshore Warriors Football team at #starlightstadium in #langfordBC last night.
It was absolutely pouring, but that Sirui held up awesome!
I don't need to believe. None of these are "beliefs". These are just cold, hard facts.
End of story.
Looking forward to seeing my son on the football field again this season. Win or lose, I couldn't be prouder of this kid!
