A lot of people have interesting and valuable things to say across platforms like Tumblr, Reddit and other socials. I think at the end of the day, if you have enough interest it just comes down to keeping an eye and ear open.

Kink and BDSM safety practises are largely created by the community and practitioners themselves, and I would say they are the experts. So if you're exposed to people having honest conversations about kink, you can eventually get an idea of how RL kink works as opposed to in porn.

When it comes to finding reliable sources, I think what helps is lurking around communities of people who practise real life kink, whether in their personal relationships, sex workers, professional doms etc. Being open to learning from a wide number of people helps identify common experiences.

I want to start by saying I don't think there's anything necessarily wrong with only engaging in kink through porn, but the moment somebody wants to involve other people, or try out some aspect of their fantasies IRL, that's when it becomes important to have at least ome knowledge of kink practises.

Yeah it's something like that. I just hope people like this do proper research if they ever attempt it in real life.

It's honestly difficult for me not to feel jaded by the topic because even before the crackdowns on hypnosis, furry etc. this has been a thing for more fringe kinks, slowly creeping up on more and more platforms, and at least for me, nobody else in my artist circles seemed to care for years
