Yeah, I was trying to agree with you.

I guess my point was 1) it's rich from us; 2) you're going to have to do a lot of unpleasant things to reach the 'maybe France is better' threshold (including pulling the rug from government-funded scholarship recipients).

Most British citizens don't have the language skills to make it in to the lowest-end of most EU job markets or the technical skills to make it in to the high-end of those markets.

All else aside, what would we expect from others in a world where basic English is one the easier languages to pick up?
