One of the crimes of AI has been the destruction of the beautiful "my nephew made this logo for me on his computer!" energy from all the hyper-local plumbers and taco shops. AI slop on white work vans is a crime against humanity.

At 30, I finally feel like I'm ready to embrace it all. There is so much to learn. This year be the year I take myself and my art seriously.
You should, too, if you are having similar thoughts. Embody who you were meant to be.
I can't wait to fall in love with music again. I'll see you around!
I am not fluent. I can't put my thoughts in writing. I can't communicate my musical ideas through pen and paper. I'm terrible as socialization. I've blocked and prevented myself from being able to fully envelope myself in the culture I really want to be apart of.
It's time to refocus.
Intuition can get you in the right direction, but it can't be all you bank on. You have to be willing to define and cement your knowledge in more ways than just the abstract thoughts that come into your mind. If you want to be successful in any career, you must have well rounded knowledge.
I don't know anything about my craft, I don't know anything about the industry, I haven't kept up on the very few connections I made over the years. I haven't been proactive nor just plain active in pursuing what I have felt (and still feel) could be a successful career.
I am in the same position now that was when I was 20. For 10 years I pretended to know what I was doing and rejected help when it was offered because I thought I knew better. Well, I realize now: I don't know anything.
CW: reflective thoughts (with a positive view)
Upon turning 30, a lot of my time has been spent reflecting on how I spent my time in my 20's. Namely, where I could have been today if I had actually given proper dedication to my passion for music.
Haven't posted in a while! Have some new music :3

Hey all!! My new bro short, digital sketching, bro! Is done! A commentary on drawing digitally. If you guys saw that joke animation with the dog abusing the undo key, it was meant for a bigger piece. This is the longest episode so far, and hereβs a chunk of it!! 1/1
Drawing them
An anthropomorphic weasel leans over a sink in a bathroom staring intently in the mirror with a determined face.
You've been through a lot worse than this. It's not just about surviving anymore, it's about living.
You can keep reacting to obstacles and speedbumps. Or you can start building your life. You're aware of the problems. It can be a choice.
Either find a way, or make one.

I want to support my friends.
Thinking of getting back into using Patreon with the idea of using that money to commission artwork, pay musicians to collaborate with, and anything else that includes supporting real human beings.
I wouldn't take any money for myself until I've reached a certain threshold.

Digital art of two anthropomorphic stoats against a sepia gray background. One is holding/picking up the other from behind, shocking them into a stunned expression leaving them curling their hands at their chest like a scruffed puppy. The stoat picking him up is a mean looking bastard. Mean and fun. Skeezy and scruffy with facial piercings and a few scars on his visible arm. Distinct nicks on his ear. Wearing a black t shirt and beige sweat pants where his phone sticks out partly. The smaller stoat is a softer looking type with a light work shirt and small shorts on with reddish leather sandals. The contents of his pocket, wallet phone and keys, are spilling out from his sudden lift. Dialogue formats to the right, all from the mean looking weasel. "Where ya going little RAT Leaving a party without saying bye is VERY fucking rude. Is that something else you picked up from rats? We got a LOT to teach your ass. Sneaky little shit. Keeping my eye on you from now on..."
"You're real quiet for a weasel" they kept saying. He grew up around rats, It only made sense. So "Rat boy" became his name tonight.
These were weasel type weasels He was not used to how abrasively loud and rowdy they were.
He regret coming. So he tried leaving quietly.
Tried.
