Though for context, average UK salary in 1956 was £1000.

In 1989, my starting salary as a degree qualified electrical engineer was £10,650.

Average salary today is £38352 according to a quick Google search.

House prices as a percentage of salary today are much higher than in 1956.

I wish that payback was true in the USA. Solar installs are about 3x more expensive in the USA than in Australia. I'm assuming NZ pricing is closer to Oz than US levels?

BTW most hydrogen comes from fossil fuel. If it does come from renewable sources, it's about 1/4 the efficiency of using it in a BEV.

My 'golf cart' isn't from Chevy, but I bought it lightly used for a similar price to a new bolt. It has 400bhp, AWD, and was cheaper used than the same vehicle and age in ICE form that had far lower performance.

I doubt it. There are already far better and cheaper alternatives available that don't come with US political baggage on the other side of the Atlantic.

Measles is a particularly nasty virus. One of it's side effects is to delete your immunity to other diseases, leaving you open to all those childhood illnesses you thought you were done with.
