Shou made things very clear with this message. He made it very clear by donating and going to Trump’s inauguration. Reposting videos of conservatives. Today we are waking up to a new world, and I’m not sure of my place in it.

I thought we would at least get until midnight but 1030pm it was over. This message from TikTok praising Donald Trump secured for me that TikTok is over. Even if it comes back, it won’t be the same. Everyone is saying Meta or Elon bought it. I don’t care who bought it, if anyone did.

The last video I saw before TikTok kicked me out and I came back to this was a video from one of my mutuals in Canada who was sharing her IG to keep in touch. I scrolled till the end. I watched as it got harder to pull up peoples profiles and my likes no longer sticking.

I’m really liking it so far as someone who used to write letters to my friend in Japan in high school by hand just using a Japanese dictionary, instantly being able to translate in realtime has been so fun and Chinese people are so nice
