This is the first trip I’ve been on where the time difference has fucked me up, probably not helped that I haven’t slept well in weeks but yeah, I’m about to pass out and it’s still the afternoon back home.
Since surviving the shooting at Saugus high school in Santa Clarita, California, Tretta, now 21, has thrown herself into gun violence-prevention activism, speaking at vigils and rallies.
