Wow, sorry to hear this - a big loss for Lowell. But Iβm sure you will land well somewhere else.
The PRobe Infrared Mission for Astrophysics (PRIMA) team is excited to announce the release of a special issue in the Journal of Astronomical Telescopes, Instruments, and Systems (JATIS), Volume 11 Issue 03! This issue was edited by Naseem Rangwala and Matt Griffin.
National investment in science and technology used to be a bipartisan priority for good reason. It has ensured American prosperity for the past century. I never thought we would be in a place where this basic reality was in question.

With the presidentsβ budget proposing to cut NASA science by more than 50%, a reminder that much of that is technology development, not duplicated by any private company. Once destroyed, the expertise that was built up over decades does not return. What a way to lose American leadership.
We are excited to announce that the PRIMA exposure time calculator is now live, and ready to help you plan your dream science! prima.ipac.caltech.edu/page/etc-calc
Have a great idea for science with PRIMA? Write a science case for Volume 2 of our GO book! The submission system is now open! prima.ipac.caltech.edu/page/go-scie... Submissions will be due at the end of May
Follow us to keep up to date on far infrared astrophysics with PRIMA during our phase A development!
