So it's nice to read a switch up when it's Beatrice to blame for the riff. When Beatrice chose the path that hurt them and not Ava.

Lmaooo it's momentary hatred before the happy ending.
In a good amount of fics, if there's a riff between Ava and Beatrice it's usually geared towards being Ava's fault. 'She didn't want to stay', 'she wanted to travel', 'she wasn't serious enough, all that stuff'.
