I’m realising that I really need to help my son use this App. I’m assuming you need to wear a wrist band or similar to measure heart rate.

March 1st - 7th is Facial Palsy Awareness Week.

Approximately 5% of patients diagnosed with #LymeDisease develop #FacialPalsy.

This usually develops in early Lyme disease when testing is known to be unreliable.

After an evening of Lyme disease awareness advocacy in the Scottish Parliament, I took a break this morning and visited Dolly in the National Museum of Scotland. I was studying genetics at University when Dolly was born so this was a big deal.

In yet more devastating news, the VC has confirmed her plans to cut 80% of academic staff from Essex Pathways, our foundation year department. This would effectively close down all our existing foundation year programmes through the back door.

But it's not a done deal yet. Please share urgently.

Scientists work to unravel mystery tick illness hitting Australians Thousands of Australians report suffering debilitating chronic symptoms after getting a tick bite. But their illness β€” and the cause of it β€” is still not well understood.

Tick-bite illnesses can be complex and debilitating. Are we any closer to understanding them?

This article from Australia’s ABC News highlights the work of Dr Richard Schloeffel who has been researching a group of people with ongoing symptoms linked to tick bites.
