My Dad was inspired by Jesse Jackson’s message and was a delegate for Jackson’s 1984 presidential run. Years later, I attended Barack Obama's home state inaugural ball in 2009 and had the opportunity to say hello. An incredible life of service. We honor his legacy by continuing the good work. RIP.
