The room was small but beautifully diverse. Different identities, different lived experiences, all in conversation with one another. We left with a deeper sense of community and a clearer understanding of the roles we each must play if we are serious about building a better world.

We gathered. We broke bread. And we spoke honestly about how the book resonated with us and how it reflects the world we are living in right now.
