Agree Corrinne. I think the Sean Rowley compilations pushed this misconception.
Everyone has guilty pleasures but in this case it’s just a classy piece of pop music.
I know why spirituality I connect with this album. It was released in the month of my birth March 1961. I’m 65 in a weeks time and My Favourite Things has never felt more relevant.
Get on this album if you’ve not already 👏👏

Great little vinyl find today. 1981 on Inner City Records. Ole being the standout track that I’ve heard played in the Electric Ballroom & Dingwalls on a number of occasions.
