It’s the exact opposite. It’s easier to highlight the absurdity of extreme ideas from the other side when you concede on the extreme issues on your side.

What is the evidence that the non-voting population leans Dem?
This talking point is so funny. Every survey — not to mention, all the other evidence — points to the non-voting part of the country being much more conservative, especially on cultural issues, than the electorate itself.
Where, specifically, did he counsel democrats to adopt pro-Israel positions?
One of the big problems in the Discourse is that none of you understand the audience of opinion columns
“They”
Democrats embracing many of these ideas lead the majority of the American electorate to vote in the current administration.
I think the fact that the pundit class recognized this in real time will reflect well on them, actually.
Lol, is that all?
It is tho. I’m sorry you can’t understand that.
Very
But…but….they’re obviously right?
Ok that’s good to know. But most Americans feel differently and we live in a democracy so 🤷♀️
This seems like….unironically the correct takeaway??? Lol
My point is, it doesn’t seem like any random person is being dragged off. Unless you can provide evidence of that. But that doesn’t appear to happen at all in the above videos.
Seems like they were using pepper spray and tear gas because people were interfering with their job?
“Would you like to be dragged off” the people in the video are screaming expletives in the officers faces and yet are barely touched. If you take a step back, it’s just fairly obvious that officers in these situations act with *more* restraint than the average person.
Which part of either of these videos is supposed to reflect poorly on the officers lol?
Yea, please get a grip
It is very funny to me when people on Bluesky - who are on 10 for every single minor event - complain about the “numb” media environment
It seems like what he is saying is right tho?
What is impeachable about his conduct?
Squishy appeals to decency is itself moral clarity
This seems like an incredibly decent statement to me
Isn’t implicit in this headline that they wanted to put the data center in a “white community” first?
It’s just all hilariously circular. Where polls show Americans with bad views…it’s their social media information environment!
But when they express good opinions…it is their direct, unfiltered beliefs.
Except, of course, on this question of Venezuela where they have answered a poll ~correctly~ and therefore I can surmise that they have not had the facts distorted and are judging the question honestly.
I love these appeals to some omnipotent benevolent arbiter. Who is supposed to ‘stop him’ here? What are they supposed to do? Be specific.
International law is just obviously fake is the issue.
??? What? He has a +20 approval rating in a blue state?
This is genuinely hilarious. Thank you for adding a little humor to the morning - we could all certainly use a little bit of that.
