Just to clarify: she still is an active recording and touring artist. Her 40th studio album was released last year. She's 72 and has Cher-like powers!
Longtime fans will miss dozens of gems, but 50 tracks make up a good enough introduction to newcomers. Her vast discography can be intimidating.
