Last few days to order the only calendar made using a cargo bike to carry an underwater camera to a beach, followed by a sea swim, then more biking to a former fishing boat storage arch near a wrecked pier where the calendar was designed. Unique!

A photograph of a starling murmuration over Brighton’s Palace Pier. The starlings have, fleetingly, formed a shaped that looks a little like a heart. Yes it’s real, no it’s not photoshopped. No it’s not AI either. It was real, for about 1/1000 of a second. There are some really terrible and obviously fake versions of a similar thing occurring out there but they’re not worth talking about.
Good morning #Brighton. The sun is shining and it’s going to be a beautiful day beside the seaside. The starlings will be along later to say hello.

Raviliesque. A photograph of several overlapping fields with a light dusting of snow on each. Some of the green crop is showing through in places and several small trees are dotted about. Plough lines show the shape of the land and make it look a little like a sketch.
Easterlies. A photograph of a single tree in an empty, white, snowy landscape. It’s a typical windswept Sussex hawthorn, the shape of which gives you some hint as to the prevailing wind.
Vinyl. A photograph of a pair of trees at the edge of a snowy field. There is a light dusting of snow on the land, leaving a small amount of colour, but making it all look a bit like a sketch. The shape and texture of the field reminded me of a piece of warped vinyl record.
White Walkers. A photograph of a single snow covered hawthorn in a very snowy landscape. Everything is very white. In the distance two little people can be seen walking away from us.

From my Horse series. I worked with these horses for over a year before I photographed them. This is Toby - a very nervous horse that I worked closely with in order for him to gain my trust - all photos are taken in a field & close up - I am lying on the floor next to him. It was freezing rain.
Twenty seconds of snow in Stanmer Park yesterday. What a beautiful morning that was.

A beautiful end to the day down here. Surprisingly colourful after such a cold, grey day.

Underscore. A photograph taken in the woodland of the South Downs. A willow tree and bulrushes in dense freezing fog. Every detail of the hanging trees branches is covered in hoar frost and the dark heads of the bulrushes dance across the bottom of the frame like a musical score.
