Ermagire's SMA23 submission: Her Voice and I Behind The Scenes - Character Designs ←30 yrs old 5 yrs old ↓ 40 yrs old→ 50 yrs old→ Eri is a stern and workaholic mother. Due to her past, she had no desire to continue pursuing her dream as a singer until one day, her son Toki had to ask her on helping him with his singing project homework which requires both a parent and child to sing together.

Even though it's a silent manga that doesn't have any dialouge, I wanted to give them names just because.

She was originally a caregiver for 50-year old Eri and she had some screentime around at the end of the story. But due to the pacing, I had to get rid of her entirely. However, I felt bad that I don't wanna waste her character design for nothing, so I drew her as the singer on the very first page and she can be seen on a billboard later on in the pages. This is Eri's father and he's abusive and an alcoholic. He shall burn in hell.

Ermagire's SMA23 submission: Her Voice and I Behind The Scenes - Last Notes Despite not winning any award, I'm glad I actually finished a manga submission for the first time because I had made 2 unfinished one-shot manga, but they're not fully lined and inked. although that I've finished this submission, I'm not satisfied with the result of the art quality because I pretty much rushed it during the lining and inking process. Such as having to sacrifice some backgrounds from the sketch in order to save time because the deadline was so close. There's also some errors in one of the panels where Eri's sleeve was missing and I forgot about it because I was freaking awake for 24 hours TvT I even forgot to put the music notes which I unfortuntely forgot to do so. I made a lot of mistakes in it, but next time, it'll be much better than this.
