There's an op-ed titled "Hey, Pete" in today's Northern Express. This is a newspaper in Traverse City, Michigan where Pete Buttigieg lives.
It's a not-so-subtle message to Pete:
We need you.
Weak men cannot compromise. Weak men cannot build consensus. Weak men think that leadership means force. Weak men build nothing that lasts.
Watch this! This is a very insightful piece on these first few weeks this administration. He puts forward a very important perspective to have right now, not believing 🍊 has the power he is telling you he has. Don’t get caught up in the smoke and mirrors.

Upon landing, Harris will visit a local fire station and then distribute food to community members impacted by the wildfires.

I’m so scared right now too, my chest is tight with anxiety and stomach is doing flips, I literally can’t relax. I just keep trying to remember I’m not alone, I do have community in many places, and we will find a way through this. I have to believe that. ❤️
I am both absolutely dreading Monday for obvious national political reasons, and also so excited to go to a midnight book release for Onyx Storm with my friends and pretend like it’s a normal evening. Monday will be very weird to say the least 🙃
