UPDATE: Another Chicago-area church has put up an immigration-themed Nativity scene.

A church member at Urban Village Church sent this one along, where Mary, Joseph and Jesus are gone and replaced with a sign that reads: “Due to ICE activity in our community, the Holy Family is in hiding.”

The “problem” with vaccines? They so effective at preventing deaths that they create generations of people that question whether disease was a problem in the first place because they have never experienced the horrors of a world without vaccines.

Sharing this not because I need support (I’m fine), but because we all need to be aware of how bad things are getting, especially for people who are foreign, “look foreign,” and/or have an accent, even in very progressive, very blue places. 🧵
