I'll just issue a general warning on watching it. If you're a Bambi type of person, don't.
Google Lens address with you at least...
I clearly have a problem. My first thought was "Bambi vs Godzilla"... (A very short film from 1969...). I wish this guy much better luck!
I loved my first generation Fit. It was so versatile. I was able to get a number of 8 foot boards entirely inside it (all doors and windows closed). Granted they were 3/4" boards and were flexible, going diagonally from the passenger foot well to the opposite back corner.
Lock her up!
You have to keep the speeds down so we can read and appreciate the messages of good cheer... ;-)
Picture of the moon with an airliner flying in front of it. Apparent size of the moon is 200+ meters.
Alignment of an airliner with the #Supermoon over #Toronto today.
Taken 20-25 km from the plane, likely on the East side of Toronto. Apparent size of the moon will have been in the 200-250 meters.

Skyline of Toronto with clouds behind it. A giant moon hovers in blue sky over the clouds in the upper right of the image.

Picture is take about 21 km (13 miles) from the CN Tower. The atmospherics were terrible but it does show you how big the moon was (apparent size 200+ meters).

I want to say this is not the America I grew up in, but a version of this crap has been part of its nature so I can't. That being said, America used to stand for something and be a true beacon. All of this tarnishes that.
I've always loved this illustration. Such a powerful image. I can't imagine the guts it took to publish that back then.
Trees almost perfectly reflected onto a lake but the image has been rotated so that the pattern of the trees reject a Rorschach test.
Fall colors Rorschach test...
I took this beautiful shot of trees reflected onto a lake, but it was boring. Cropping and rotating it 90 degrees made it far more interesting and a bit disturbing.

But I see such pretty pictures of the stuff... ;-)
I somewhat agree. Last month I took a picture (see my feed) with nothing happening in the sky so I just stacked a bunch of shots to show the Moon in different positions as it rose.
I didn't thing I was going to get any shot given the weather so I was really pleased with the result.
Agreed. Full credit goes to artistry. I was just answering the "how was it aligned" question. Apps are just tools that help implement a vision (which was well conceived and executed here).
I'm guessing he used PhotoPills for the alignment.
Moon rising behind the Toronto skyline. The moonlight is reflected on Lake Ontario, but the shadow of a build blocks the middle of it (to some extent).
Another shot of the #SuperMoon over #Toronto tonight taken 21km (13 miles) from the CN Tower, so the apparent Moon size was about 200m (650 ft)! I love the way the shadow of the building looks from the light of the Moon.

Extremely large Moon over the Toronto nightscape. Moon is obstructed by clouds and is sandwiched between the CN Tower on the right and a tall building on the left. The light from the Moon is reflected on the waters of Lake Ontario.
#SuperMoon over #Toronto tonight. Shot was taken 21km (13 miles) from the CN Tower, so the apparent Moon size was about 200m (650 ft)! Unfortunately, the clouds were low enough that I couldn't get an alignment shot with the CN Tower.

Let's hope it changes for the.
Love those markings
Wow. It's going to be huge on those days. The one in the 5th is quite accessible but not a lot of real estate for a lot of photographers. The solution I found for the 6th is at 43.533288ยฐN 79.599352ยฐW and gives a apparent size of 200m! I don't know how accessible that spot is though.
I just used Photoshop. Each shot was is own later and because I just needed to use the "brightest" part of each image I got away with telling PS to use the lighten blend mode. In this case the Blue hour shot was the brightest for the cityscape and the featureless sky meant the Moon worked the same.
And yet still better than the Crosstown...
Liked it and it make me think of this matchbook cover from the 60's
Two goblins, each wearing a toga. One is carrying at very large phallus.
You don't see that everyday!
These are two of the goblins from #Goblins:Oedipus in #Stratford, Ontario today. And the play was fun and excellent. If you saw Goblins:MacBeth, this one is slightly better!
I added the pixelation to make it less graphic....
Nightscape of Toronto and the CN Tower. It's a composite image showing the Moon at 6 different elevations, including one aligned with the CN Tower. The buildings were photographed blue hour and still have the golden glow of the Sun reflecting of them.
A composite #Moonrise over #Toronto last Wednesday. The Moon is shown over about a 15 minute span with almost 3 minutes between each copy of the Moon. I found it interesting for the color shifted during the rise.

Sunrise over a peaceful small lake surrounded by trees. A single line of clouds is in the sky and reflected perfectly on the calm lake. The Sun is just breaking over the trees and lines can be seen radiating from it. This can also be seen reflected on the lake.
