Boris Johnson says Keir Starmer has made us an irrelevance on the world stage...
"I said it's quite bold of Nigel Farage to go to the US to side with Donald Trump against his own country. What did I say Roy?"

Our southern woodland border ditch
If I step over this 1,500 year old ditch, the historic border between the Kingdomβs of Kent & the South Saxons, I will be in danger from hordes of wild rabbits from Sussex (as they like to call themselves now π)
They seem to sense the Men of Kent, & their eyes follow us π

The GB grid saw 4 GWh of battery storage added in 2025, 30% more than in 2024.
(For context an average of about 80 GWh is drawn from the grid every day)
The average capacity was 95 MWh (about 10,000 times bigger than a domestic battery), and 75% had a max power output of over 50 MW

A small group of snowdrops
Snowdrops are not indigenous to Britain, & likely introduced around the 1500s, but now fully naturalised
They likely began their life here in monastery herb gardens, perhaps used medicinally
They have long been linked to celebrating light's victory over darkness
Male Blackbirds everywhere, but not in our garden
They know each otherβs territory, & get aggressive in the breeding season. In Winter thereβs less, but a mutual respect for boundaries
So they donβt enter Bertβs garden, thus leaving a physical & metaphorical hole in our lives

When we were in the EU, there were signs all over the place showing how the EU was investing in our towns and regions. And best of all, EU funding was shared out EQUALLY and FAIRLY across all parts of the UK, regardless of which party was in power.
