#ModelWorldLIVE - my most challenging model yet. At the time, only the cabs and sides/roof were available and this kit required some creative work to get it to fit together squarely. I also have 2nd one in my to-do box but I doubt I'll get near that anytime soon, lol. #VariousMultipleUnits #bsmrguk

Normally on a gloss varnished base with a satin or matt seal over the top. On RTR ready liveried stock like 1529 4CEP i haven't sealed it other than its application using Humbrol Decalfix. Being new Railtec Transfers they're pretty strong and resilient in this case.

#WhatsOnTheWorkbench - I am surprised that neither the BR or SR Bulleid 4EPBs are available in RTR form, especially given their widespread use across the Southern Region. That said, I did cheat a little on my builds. Who said cheats never prosper 😂

WhatsOnTheWorkbench - 4CEP 1529 renumbered with "1066 Electrics" logos all from railtec transfers. I've also fitted protectors to the inside of the corridor connections and given it some mild weathering.Next up are the roof and chassis.

Here is my oldest and my latest. My Lima Class 33 was gifted to me back in the early 80s. I learned to add detailing and do all sorts of enhancements I would never had risked on a £180 Heljan one. Good luck with your projects and aspirations for 2025 😊

I make my own using Dartcastings MJT 63 Cab Fronts and reuse the Hornby VEPs original Corridor connections

#WhatsOnTheWorkbench - 2x Blue Grey VEPs getting cab front rebuilds and roof corrections. All 4x DTCs have had replacement cabs and rebuilt corridor connections. All the undersized roof vents have been replaced, & all the numbering has been removed, ready to detail

All three vehicles have now been safely unloaded at Alstom Derby. Now we look forward to an exciting future in preservation!

#WhatsOnTheWorkbench - I am made up with the new Accurascale Mk2C TSO(T). The detailing, paintjob and interiors are best in class. Only gripe is the shiny black roofs, I've repainted with Humbrol Matt Dark Grey No. 67 +matt varnish. It's now ripe for some weathering.
