I recently found out there is a document that alleges that I interacted inappropriately with minors when I was 18 and older. I created my FurAffinity account in 2018, when I was 14, so I could look at all the posts on the site. My first post online was in April 2020 on FurAffinity. At this time, I was 16, so I lied about my age to be 18, so I could post this kind of art and interact with the community. Since then, I have been maintaining that fake age and updating it every year. (I am currently 21, but my bio says 23). Later in 2020, when I was still 16, I created a Discord server that was focused around object show "kink." I did not check for age to let people in, so I did not know everyone's age, but I am sure I was aware that some users were as young as me or younger. In early 2021, by the time I was 17, I started to realize how much I messed up after one user left the server upset. I shut down the server, promised to never contact any of the minors that were in it again, and hoped that would be enough to move on. Later on, early this year, I realized that I severely hurt at least one of the users there, where they considered me their groomer. I broke my no contact promise only to give a full apology, explaining my age, then didn't speak to them again. I have not created a server since then, and I never plan to. I did a lot of things very wrong. As everyone will tell you, it is better to wait until you are older so you don't have to lie about your age. I was not the responsible protector of people younger than me like I should have been. And when I did realize what I did was wrong, I just stayed quiet and hoped everything would turn out OK. I was never an adult trying to groom anyone, but I was still old enough that I should have known better. It has been my biggest regret, and I am sorry, so very sorry. I am most of all sorry to the people in that server, I am sorry for lying for so long and breaking trust.
