Congratulations Maria! You’re a rockstar.
#standupforscience2025 in Tulsa, OK yesterday. As @awiglesworth.bsky.social said, we (and the folks driving by) learned something.
Stand up for science. Don’t step into the street for science!

Side note: our previous “paper in a day” manuscript just received an accept with minor revision. So stay tuned for exciting updates in advancing culturally grounded mental health and neuroimaging research
Neu-AIRR lab “paper in a day” 2024 is underway! Our first attempt to do this on the same day as the institute holiday luncheon. Fingers crossed!
This paper was led by a previous post-doc and current Assistant Professor at University of Tennessee, Chattanooga Dr. Ricadrdo Wilhelm.
The study links culturally-relevant protective factors to neural mechanisms of executive control, offering insights for resilience-based mental health interventions. #Neuroscience #IndigenousResearch
I finally made my way onto the platform! I am excited to connect! I am also excited to share our new paper recently released online in American Psychologist (open access link: psycnet.apa.org/fulltext/202...)
