Security vs DevEx? False choice.
@abangser.bsky.social, Adrian Mouat & @hollycummins.com explore how teams can build systems that are both secure and great to work on. youtu.be/EGSMP2UodKM?...
This is such a great event! It is a real "connector" event where you build not just awareness but actual connections with everyone through both deep tech conversations and just fun and relaxation.
Really hoping to shift some things around and be able to attend myself!
This is the best local event! Hoping I can sort the diary given the AWESOME lineup (as usual!)
I am excited to be joining this! I am really looking forward to allocated the time to sit down & think through this space intentionally rather than in the act of "getting something done". Someone as experienced/thoughtful as @thepete.net as the facilitator means it will be a high value use of time!
Well that is high honours coming from you! Thanks for sharing all of your wisdom in all my last minute freakouts π
Abby on the keynote stage with many puppies on screen.
Platform engineering principles.
Principles, strategies, tactics.
Platforms allow us to go faster, safer, and more efficiently, without the βpuppy for Christmasβ problem of maintainability. π @abangser.bsky.social #KubeCon
Thanks so much for sharing Marko!
Excellent keynote by @abangser.bsky.social at #KubeCon | #CloudNativeCon π . I think the following slide really nails down what good looks like and gives a solid direction for people involved in IDPs!
If you missed it it's worth watching: www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmAf...
Absolute highlight! It really helped with the come down from KubeCon week to not have to go cold turkey! π
A decade of Infrastructure as Code and whatβs next.
#GOTOpodcast: @abangser.bsky.social and @kief.com explore how the field evolved from server configs to complex cloud systems β and what AI, abstraction and platform engineering mean for its future.

Evolving Beyond Terraform: Modernizing Infrastructure-as-Code with Kratix andΒ Crossplane
Terraform has long been the standard for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), enabling teams to provision and manage infrastructure efficiently. However, as development workflows evolve, Terraform'sβ¦
How Kratix Simplifies NGINX Rate Limiting inΒ Kubernetes
Too much traffic can crash your app. Platform engineers often use NGINX Ingress Controllers to manage traffic, but scaling configurations across environments can be complex. Kratix, an open-source platform framework, automates NGINXβ¦
Abby @abangser.bsky.social is giving an absolute barnstormer of a talk on platform engineering + observability, and I am so sleepy/jetlagged that I keep forgetting the killer quotes in the time elapsed between snapping a photo and opening bsky π₯±
Join @artemlajko.bsky.social for a live session on how teams can build a self-service Kubernetes catalog using vCluster, GitOps, Helm, Terraform, and Kratix.

Great mutual feedback on our projects and the start of an exciting collaboration to bring @microcks.io to the Kratix marketplace π
#PlatEngDay continues with awesome panel around platform adoption, what can make it successful and what can sink it
@abangser.bsky.social @wiggitywhitney.bsky.social Leena Mooneeram Ana Margarita Medina #KubeCon #PlatformEngineeringDay
Thanks for coming by! Hopefully we all lived up :D
Like every #KubeCon #CloudNativeCon EU day this week, for me it starts with the Platform Engineering coffee, kindly organized by @devnetes.bsky.social @abangser.bsky.social David Stenglein & others
Great discussions & sharing every day, in a lean coffee style!
Photo is actually from yesterday ;)
People see a need to not just have a platform, but engineer their own platform and that is why Kratix.io is taking off. Come meet the amazing team behind the platform framework at @syntasso.io booth S641 and figure out how to make platform engineering high leverage for your organisation!
And in the always dreaded Friday slot, I have no doubt that @sebi2706.bsky.social will still be bringing the energy as we bring the story of Kubernetes as an API server for building on top of to the novice track! sched.co/1txGW
Then it is the indescribably passionate and driven Phillip Morton where I am just along for the ride as he showcases how he powered not one, not two, but three hackathons for The Access Group with an engaging and fully hands on 90minute tutorial so that you can do the same: sched.co/1tx6e
First up is @medina.bsky.social Leena Mooneeram and @wiggitywhitney.bsky.social where we have had just so much fun prepping a panel that due to our amazing connection has turned into more of a 4 person talk and the audience will be in for a treat because of it! sched.co/1u5m3
This week marks a really big one for me, after getting a very big surprise acceptance to KubeCon NA Detroit back in 2022 I have had the pleasure of attending each of the EU and NA events. But here, in London, my chosen home city, @syntasso.io will be showing up with 6 speakers across 8 sessions ππ
This is part joke, but part admiration for the amazing humans who create a 5 days long @cncf.io festival of sorts where people come together across different types of events with different personalities to create community over bubble teas, karaoke songs, tech fails, personal wins, and so much more.
I know a lot of people are warming up for #KubeCon with what I affectionately call KubeCon Day -2 today π
And yes, I have started talking about @rejekts.io 1 and 2 as KubeCon day -2 and -1, Co-located days as Day 0 (gotta techie amiright??) and then the three core days.
