It seems like Netanyahu and Putin take turns manipulating the gullible Trump. He got duped into starting this ridiculous genocidal war, and Israel and Russia are the two beneficiaries.

The bar for the Soviet Union is also too short, though not by quite as much.

Trump is the bitch of both Netanyahu and Putin, so it's a tag team match made in hell.

We live in an era of crimes against humanity fueled by disinformation from vested interests. Not that this is something new, but technological innovations have greatly accelerated this global malaise.

The Pandora's box of malignant narcissism releases megalomania and other demons. Is there an exorcist in the House?

I endorse this message. The people of Hungary are in the streets, trying to take back their country from one of the IDU's authoritarian heroes. We need to take back our provinces.

Please place your apparel and appendages in the recycling bin by the door before leaving.

As euphemisms go, "tap" is certainly doing a lot of work here.

Better act fast, since his even longer summer holiday will begin soon thereafter.

Coyne's glowing review of PoiLIEvre's recent side show on the latest CBC At Issue episode almost caused me to hurl. He is so perceptive at times, but then he puts those conservative blinders back on.

My feelings about this apologist for a deranged narcissist who is bent on destroying what's left of the world order do not include anything remotely resembling admiration.

In my view, 77% is depressingly low... as in many other (but not all) areas, Australia and Sweden are totally waxing us here. I suppose our proximity to elephantine Amerika is largely to blame.

A cuckoo clock Trump would've made a great meme, but instead he turned into a demented ogre who is bent on destroying civilization.

In the 21st century this is evil incarnate. Poilievre is nothing more than a mini-Trump, willing to sell out our children for the short-term profit of burning oil & gas. The legacy of myopic leaders like this will be to leave a wasteland for the next generation. We must stop them. #EndFossilFuels

Wise words. The entrenched Democratic establishment, many of them wealthy themselves, are highly susceptible to influence from the billionaire oligarchs. The 2028 presidential election will be a do or die moment for American democracy.

My reaction exactly. Overall I think the survey does highlight one of the major differences between our two countries, but that number does not reflect our current reality. Many of my fellow Canadians continue to disappoint me on a daily basis.

It also makes me wonder how many times he got away with drunk driving before a conscientious citizen took the trouble to report it. He is not fit to hold public office, and if he decides to run again, hopefully the voters will send him that message in emphatic fashion.

From Dumb to Dumber. We may not have reached Peak Dumb yet, but we're getting ever closer.

Get a bread machine, and then all you need is the four ingredients listed on the left to make bread that's better than just about anything you can buy.

We don't filter our water, since the city we live in does a good job of that, and we have excellent tap water. But we do have two high quality Corsi-Rosenthal type air filters (2nd generation, with quiet fans) running 24/7 in our home. Unfortunately, very few homeowners or businesses do likewise.

And this from the lunatic who ranted about Jewish space lasers and wanted Anthony Fauci locked up for "crimes against humanity", among many other bizarre aberrations.

It just goes to show how bad things really are, I guess.

On a recent trip to the Caribbean, we saw many people hacking away in airports and on aircraft, making no effort to protect others. We were dismayed by how thoughtless some people are, and very grateful that we had our N95's to wear! Only about 2% of the travelers we saw were doing likewise. ๐Ÿ˜ก

I'm still amazed at how the Kuwaitis could shoot down three jets, and yet all of the crews were apparently able to eject safely... that would seem to take some finesse, or a lot of luck.

I heard that too - that was our esteemed Minister of Energy & Natural Resources, Tim Hodgson. He's a finance guy who seems to have no cred whatsoever in realistic approaches to dealing with climate change, and many of his pronouncements have been cringe-worthy.

I've been suspicious of the GRAS designation for a long, long time... but now, ick! The GRAS is much greener on the other side of the fence, where we eat real food, mostly plants.
