This is the first Becky Chambers book Iβve read. It was fun and very chilled. Felt like a JRPG world - just very nice! Has some gentle words on purpose which are helpful to hear for someone who often feel rudderless and lacks motivation. It was PLEASANT. lol #blutoid
A couple of short books which Iβve read recently and really enjoyed. This is my A Level copy of Gatsby which I found very underwhelming as an 18yo. Very much enjoyed it this time around! I quickly look out for more Fitzgerald and found a 2nd hand copy of Tender is the Night.

Nice! Yeah when I played it as a kid I mostly used my brotherβs maps. I used to draw my own imaginary dungeons too lol just shit loads of crazy dungeon drawings filled with traps etc. I now really love the slow process of mapping π₯° That was absolutely rekindled by Etrian Odyssey.
I absolutely love stuff like that! Seraβs manual art back in the early 90s was really good! Lots of little characters and fun little drawings :D
Going to try to play a videogame this evening. Back into the dungeon for me! Also, Shining in the Darkness has a very very strange cover. It makes less design sense the more you look at it π€£

A part of me regrets getting my Gameboy modded with the backlit screen etc. I miss the pea green soup of the original screen. Itβs obviously much easier to play but itβs not the same. Itβs like those old celebrities who get a face lift or something

How many games in the series at this point? Itβs quite an amazing achievement! I kind of wish I had the inclination/time to get into it.
I dedicated 120hrs of my life to Zero and Azure and, though I thought they were alright, I definitely wasnβt blown away - especially not by the combat system.

Yeah itβs pretty uncommon in Britain too (which is where I am), as it was never released here. I would like it in the big box though lol Iβll hold out - no rush. Nearly bought it for about Β£90 recently-ish but that seems like a lot, though I doubt Iβd get it cheaper than that
