I think it’s a timing thing. It’s such short notice. Suzuka and Shanghai are ready and good to go. Maybe next year if it’s all still kicking off in the Middle East then yes. Portimao is a hoot of a track. India are back in the market for a race. Then there’s Sepang. It’s pretty decent too.
Yep. Or even back to China. They wouldn’t need to do to much to get the track ready again. It should still be OK. I guess it’s all a matter of contracts, other series that have races booked and so on.

Everyone tries that before they call but it doesn’t stop the IT geek on the other end of the phone from saying it to you as a default opening to their side of the conversation. They should assume you’ve already tried that before going to the hassle of phoning and trying to get through to them.

I ‘think’ I remember the pilots were dressed like airline pilots or boat captains or something. It was very formal. I might be confused but in my mind they did.
And IT people earn a decent living just saying, over and over again, ‘turn it off, wait 20 seconds, then turn it in again’ Bunch of chancers.
I remember being at the hovercraft pier/slipway thing as a small child watching them come and go. It felt like pure science fiction at that age. Amazing things.
