Other paths in the woods are under water and impassible
A wander in the wet to check out the heronry, to find 5 very active, raucous & raunchy birds. Area is very flooded though and struggled to get through the wood #greyheron #CarmsBirds #BirdingWales
I took a wander there too but after you and had good views of the female marsh harrier.
The sky was blue and the sun shone, certainly made the Robin sing. However I couldn't see him. Always a pleasure to hear #Robin #song

Whatever have you done to yourself now? Seems like you need a good dose of cod liver oil for your joints
Gulls, oystercatchers, sanderling and dunlin feeding on mussels on the beach
The sun going down as the tide goes out
Mussels galore
Sunset over the distant lighthouse with plenty of herring gulls taking to the sky
An afternoon beach walk with the dogs & a set of bins, as the tide was going out. A feeding frenzy of birds as so many mussels were left on the sand. Bar-tailed godwits, sanderling, dunlin, oycs and lots of gulls #BurryPort #sunset #CarmsBirds #BirdingWales
