Proud to hear Mayor Sadiq Khan call- out Donald Trump as a climate wrecker.

At @newyorkclimateweek.bsky.social with representative of US mayors including @mayorofchicago.bsky.social. Listening to chilling accounts of the erosion of rights in Trump’s America. But uplifting to learn about the work mayors are doing to protect the rights of all citizens. Hope in dark days.

At this time I fear for christians because the world’s most vulnerable people have reason to fear christians.

The argument was made: “When the talking stops the violence starts”. It’s being held up by the political right as some great insight but it’s simplistic and wrong. Shouldn’t even need to explain it depends on what words are being shared and for what purpose.
