In the distant future of 2025... A lost NES game will be excavated. XCAVATOR 2025 is an all-new, never-before-seen game from legendary programmer Chris Oberth. First developed at Incredible Technologies Inc., XCAVATOR was shopped around to multiple publishers in 1991, but never found a home. It was quietly archived and never looked at again, until it was rediscovered by the Video Game History Foundation in the late programmer’s archives. Mega Cat Studios then volunteered to finish the game, staying true to Oberth’s original vision, and iam8bit has stepped up to publish it.
